Throwback Thursday: New York Council's WWI Honor Roll Tablet

In October 1919, Morris Park Council #566 dedicated a memorial tablet with the names of 70 council members who served in World War I. The event took place on Columbus Day in Queens. It was reported that 6,000 people attended the event and that 1,000 participated in the related parade.
