Illinois' Quincy Council Aids WWI War Effort

The spotlight shined on the Knights of Columbus in 1914 when the United States appointed the organization the official Catholic service agency for the armed forces in World War I. Quincy Council No. 583 pitched in by selling liberty bonds and war savings stamps.
