Baltimore: Inter-faith Charity Baseball Game, 1946

On July 9, 1946, Baltimore Council No. 205 participated in the inaugural Inter-faith charity baseball game at Oriole Park, a match between the Orioles and Jersey City. A crowd of 30,00 attended the benefit game, which was won by Jersey City.

California: Knights vs. Navy: Baseball in San Francisco, 1908

The San Francisco Knights of Columbus and sailors from the U.S. ship Louisiana played a charity game of baseball in San Francisco’s Ingleside neighborhood on June 1908. The Knights defeated the Louisiana crew 5-1.
